New ABS regulation to boost disc brake sales

Pricol hosted a conference call on Aug 1, 2025. In the conference call, the company was represented: Mr. Siddharth Manoharan - Director - Strategy, Mr. P.M. Ganesh - Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director, and Mr. Priyadarsi Bastia - Chief Financial Officer.

Key takeaways of the call

In Q1 FY26, revenue growth was strong at 44% YoY, however the EBITDA margin declined by approximately 193 basis points.

Pricol Precision Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, recorded a turnover of approximately Rs 200 crore in Q1 FY26.

The new ABS regulation is expected to boost the company’s disc brake sales.

In Q1 FY26, 65% of revenue came from two-wheelers, 10% from passenger vehicles, 15% from commercial vehicles, and 10% from off-road vehicles and tractors.

Exports contributed 8% to Q1 FY26 revenue, while domestic sales accounted for 92%. Management expects exports to increase going forward.
