Key takeaways of the call

Pending order book as end of Sep 30, 2024 stood  approx at 3847 Crore comprising EHV cables of Rs 301 crore, institutional cables domestic Rs 2368 crore, EPC Rs 603 crore  and  Exports Rs 575 crore. EHV Cables order book of Rs 301 crore includes L1 orders worth Rs 186 crore.

Volume increase in cables in Q2FY25 is about 14%.  

Domestic Institutional EHV cable sale in Q2FY25 stood lower at Rs 73 crore (against Rs 169 crore in Q2FY24) hit largely by delay in projects. The demand for EHV cables is from power utilities and the demand is hit by elections and heavy rains impacting project executions.  The projects were struck due to ROW issues and approvals as well as no permission for cutting the road due to heav...
