Expects Ebitda margin of around 14% for FY24

Kansai Nerolac Paints held a conference call on 06 February 2024 to discuss the results for the quarter ended December 23 and way forward. Mr. Anuj Jain, Managing Director, Mr. Prashant Pai, Director Finance and Mr. Jason Gonsalves, Director – Corporate Planning, IT & Materials of the company addressed the call.

Highlights of the Concall

  • Overall the demand for industrial paint remained good. In automotive the passenger vehicle continued with a good growth rate and 2-wheeler, which was not so good in the previous quarters, the company see some kind of revival of the demand happening in the two wheeler.

  • Passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle witnessed a decent demand. The other part of the industrial business, which is performance coating also continued to do well. It is also getting benefit from the infrastructure development spend by the government, the capex cycle, all that is supporting the non-auto industrial business.
