Jana Small Finance Bank conducted a conference call on 21 October 2024 to discuss the financial results for the quarter ended September 2024. Ajan Kanwal, MD & CEO of the company addressed the call:

Highlights:

The loan book of the bank has increased 17% yoy to Rs 26,411 crore, while the share of secured assets has increased to 65% from 60% end March 2024. The secured loan book grew 16% for H1, while unsecured book declined 7%.

The focus of the bank is on building a secured bank and building a strong liability franchise.

The deposits increased 31% yoy and 10% in H1 to Rs 24808 crore end September 2024.

The CASA deposits increased to 28% yoy and 12% yoy to Rs 4977 crore. TD growth of 32% y-o-y, 10% in H1

CASA ratio improved to 20.1% end September 2024 from 19.7% end March 2024.

The capital adequacy at 18.8% with Tier-1 CRAR of 17.8% end September 2024. Considering profit for H1FY25, CRAR is 20.3% and Tier-1...
