Laying strong emphasis on strengthening operational resilience


'ICICI Bank conducted a concall on 19 April 2025 to discuss the financial results for the quarter ended March 2025 and prospects of the bank. Sandeep Bakhshi, MD&CEO of the bank addressed the call:

Highlights:

The focus of the bank continues to be on growing profit before tax excluding treasury through the 360-degree customer centric approach and by serving opportunities across ecosystems and micromarkets.

Total deposits grew by 14.0% yoy and 5.9% sequentially at end March 2025. Average deposits grew by 11.4% yoy and 1.9% sequentially. Average current and savings account deposits grew by 10.0% yoy and 0.5% sequentially.

The Bank’s average liquidity coverage ratio for the quarter was about 126%.

The domestic loan portfolio grew by 13.9% yoy and 2.2% sequentially at end March 2025. The retail loan portfolio grew by 8.9% yoy and 2.0% sequentially. Including non-fund based outstanding, the retail portfolio was 43.8% of the total portfolio.
