Ddev Plastiks Industries Ltd held a conference call on 12 August 2024 to discuss the results for the quarter ended June 2024 and way forward. Mr. Narrindra Suranna – Managing Director, Mr. Ddev Surana – Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rajesh Kothari – Director and Mr. Arihant Bothra – Chief Financial Officer of the company addressed the call.

Highlights of the Concall

  • The company experienced strong demand from the cables segment during Q1FY25 and its ongoing efforts to shift the product mix towards niche and high-voltage products led to better growth in volumes.

  • Better product mix, significant reduction in finance cost has resulted in better margins and improved bottom-line.

  • Total capacity utilization in Q1FY25 was 80% compared to 65% in Q1FY24. Antifab capacity utilization was 85% compared to 67% over the same period while PVC (polyvinyl chloride) compounds capacity utilization was 63% (52%), Sioplas/XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene)/s...
