Company History

Enkei Wheels (India) Limited was incorporated on March 30, 2009. The Company obtained a Certificate of Commencement of Business on May 29 2009. The Company is one of the leading Indian manufacturers of aluminium alloy wheels for two wheelers and four-wheelers.
The principal activities of Company are manufacturing of aluminium alloy casting wheels , mainly used in auto industry. ' Their state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Pune has a production capacity of 2W 1,20,000 and 4W 90,000 pieces per month.

As a part of the Enkei Group, Company started the operations in Pune since year 2009, the Company came into existence through the Demerger of Alicon Castalloy Ltd (Formerly known as Enkei Castalloy Ltd.).

In 2010, Company acquired the Wheel Business of Enkei Castalloy Limited (ECL) pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement between
Enkei Castalloy Limited and the Company. Through Scheme of Arrangement between Enkei Castalloy Limited and the Company, the Wheel Business of Enkei Castalloy Limited was demerged into the Company on 'going concern basis' in 2011. Thereafter, it commissioned Map-3 and re-located the Map-1 line from Alicon Castalloy Ltd.

The Production Capacity Expansion project was renamed 'Preparations For our Future (PFF)' in 2022. In May 2022, production was started at MAC5, the first phase of the PFF Project, and production has been steadily increasing since then. In 2nd Phase, the installation and start of production for all 1 - New Paint Shop (Paint Shop 2), 2 - The conversion of MAP3 (existing line) to MAT, and 3 - The Machine Shop (rework line and addition and consolidation of helium leak testing), were commenced in the second half of 2023.
