Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index registers a drop of 1.41%

Nifty Realty index closed down 1.41% at 884.15 today. The index has added 2.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Macrotech Developers Ltd fell 3.38%, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd dropped 2.25% and Anant Raj Ltd slipped 1.81%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 8.00% over last one year compared to the 8.23% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Pharma index increased 1.08% and Nifty FMCG index has dropped 1.06% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has slid 0.34% to close at 24246.7 while the SENSEX has declined 0.39% to close at 79801.43 today.
