Information Technology shares fall

Information Technology stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the BSE Information Technology index falling 160.92 points or 0.48% at 33545.56 at 13:47 IST.


Among the components of the BSE Information Technology index, Cyient Ltd (down 2.13%), Datamatics Global Services Ltd (down 1.93%),Infosys Ltd (down 1.91%),Mastek Ltd (down 1.62%),Onward Technologies Ltd (down 1.31%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were eMudhra Ltd (down 1.29%), Wipro Ltd (down 1.28%), NELCO Ltd (down 1.1%), Ksolves India Ltd (down 1.02%), and Rashi Peripherals Ltd (down 0.85%).

On the other hand, Rategain Travel Technologies Ltd (up 4.31%), Magellanic Cloud Ltd (up 3.8%), and D-Link India Ltd (up 3.76%) moved up.

At 13:47 IST, the BSE SmallCap was up 519.14 or 1.07% at 49264.56.

The BSE 150 MidCap Index index was up 158.55 points or 1.06% at 15078.05.

The Nifty 50 index was up 57.1 points or 0.24% at 24182.65.

The BSE Sensex index was up 190.82 points or 0.24% at 79599.32.

On BSE,2617 shares were trading in green, 1307 were trading in red and 154 were unchanged.
