MCX Afternoon Wrap: Copper holds above Rs 850 per kg, Aluminium sees slight drop

Base metals were mostly supported on the MCX today. MCX benchmark April Copper futures are well supported after breaking above Rs 850 per kg mark in morning trades. The counter is currently up 0.80% to trade at Rs 852 per kg after witnessing sharp drop in open interest in volumes in last session even as prices saw marginal uptick. MCX Aluminum futures eased 0.19% to trade at Rs 230.60 per kg. MCX Zinc futures added 0.73% to trade at Rs 249.10 per kg. MCX Lead futures are up 0.40% to trade at Rs 177.80 per kg.
