Steel Authority of India (SAIL) announced that Amarendu Prakash, Chairman and Managing Director of the company has resigned with effect from 01 April 2026.
Further, in terms of the Order of the Government of India, Ministry of Steel, Krishna Kumar Singh, Director (Personnel), SAIL has been given the additional charge of the post of Chairman and Managing Director, SAIL for a period of 3 months from 2 April 2026 to 01 July 2026.
