Company History

Siemens Energy India Limited (SEIL) is a leading energy technology provider, focused on delivering integrated solutions for power generation and transmission systems. The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens Limited. It was formed in 2024 through a demerger from Siemens Limited and is now listed on the BSE and NSE. SEIL covers a significant portion of the energy value chain, offering products, solutions, and services related to power generation, transmission, and storage.

In February 2024, the Energy Business of Siemens Limited was demerged/ transferred into the Company in the Share Entitlement Ratio fixed at 1:1 and the Scheme of Demerger was made effective on April 25, 2025. As per the Scheme of Arrangement, shareholders of Siemens Limited have received 1 share of the Company for every 1 share of Siemens Limited. The Company has 355,745,721 shares listed on the stock exchanges on June 19, 2025.
