Diversifying geographic presence to reduce U.S. dependence

Garware Hi Tech Films held a conference call on 08 August 2025 to discuss the results for the quarter ended June 2025 and way forward. Mr. Mohan S. Adsul, Director-Technical, Mr Deepak Joshi, Director of Sales and Marketing and Mr Abhishek Agarwal, Chief Financial Officer of the company addressed the call.

Highlights of the Concall

  • Garware Hi-Tech Films posted consolidated revenue of Rs 495 crore in Q1FY26, up 4.3% YoY from Rs 475 crore, despite a challenging operating environment. EBITDA came in at Rs 123 crore versus Rs 130 crore last year, with margins at 24.8% compared to 27.4%, mainly due to higher employee and marketing costs as part of long-term growth investments.

  • Profit before tax declined 6% to Rs 110.3 crore from Rs 117.5 crore in Q1 FY25, in line with the revenue mix and strategic expansion initiatives. Net profit stood at Rs 83 crore versus Rs 88.4 crore last year.
