United Spirits

Premiumisation trend continues


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of United Spirits has increased 8.04% to Rs 3002.1 crore in Q3FY24 compared to Q3FY23 in-line with growth in the standalone business. Net sales at Rs 2,989 crore increased 7.5% year-on-year driven by continued premiumisation, and resilient consumer demand. Within the above, Prestige & Above segment grew 10.0%.  Sales of Beverage Alcohol segment has gone up 7.73% to Rs 2,989.30 crore (accounting for 99.56% of total sales).  Sales of Sports segment has gone up 230.00% to Rs 13.20 crore (accounting for 0.44% of total sales). 

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 30.85% to Rs 486.50 crore.  PBIT of Beverage Alcohol segment rose 31.35% to Rs 493.60 crore (accounting for 101.46% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Sports segment fell 77.50% to Rs -7.10 crore (accounting for -1.46%...
