'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of JSW Energy for the quarter ended Sep 2023 has increased 36.52% to Rs 3259.42 crore. Strong growth in topline is due to incremental revenue from
renewable, portfolio and strong thermal performance on the back of a buoyant
merchant market. Operating profit margin has jumped from 37.26% to 57.69%, leading to 111.38% rise in operating profit to Rs 1,880.38 crore. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 2.37% to 3.27%. Employee cost decreased from 3.71% to 2.65%. Other expenses fell from 56.66% to 36.39%. Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 47.97% to 29.21%. renewable assets, short term thermal sales and a truing-up impact at hydro
