'For the quarter ending Dec 2023, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of Bharat Forge has increased 15.30% to Rs 3866.41 crore compared to quarter ended Dec 2022.  Sales of Forgings segment rose 10.95% to Rs 3,343.91 crore (accounting for 84.23% of total sales).  Sales of Others segment has gone up 69.61% to Rs 626.23 crore (accounting for 15.77% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales rose Rs 9.49 crore to Rs 103.73 crore.  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 68.93% to Rs 537.27 crore.  PBIT of Forgings segment rose 42.90% to Rs 407.87 crore (accounting for 75.91% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Others segment rose 296.71% to Rs 129.40 crore (accounting for 24.09% of total PBIT).
