'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Rail Vikas Nigam for the quarter ended Sep 2023 has increased 0.11% to Rs 4914.32 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 6.44% to 6.07%, leading to 5.60% decline in operating profit to Rs 298.29 crore. Employee cost decreased from 1.11% to 0.94%. Other expenses rose from 92.45% to 92.99%. Other direct service cost rose from 91.79% to 92.44%.
Other income rose 33.38% to Rs 296.02 crore. PBIDT rose 10.48% to Rs 594.31 crore. Provision for interest rose 1.42% to Rs 132.69 crore. PBDT rose 13.40% to Rs 461.62 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 29.05% to Rs 6.22 crore.
