'Consolidated
net sales (including other operating income) of JSW Steel has increased 6.72%
to Rs 44584 crore. Operating profit
margin has jumped from 4.19% to 17.69%, leading to 350.11% rise in operating
profit to Rs 7,886.00 crore. Raw
material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from
62.02% to 51.31%. Purchase of finished
goods cost fell from 1.32% to 0.41%.
Employee cost increased from 2.52% to 2.62%. Other expenses fell from 29.57% to
26.83%. Power and Oil fuel cost fell
from 12.01% to 9.13%. Other direct
service cost rose from 2.16% to 4.34%.
Other
income rose 26.06% to Rs 237 crore.
PBIDT rose 318.71% to Rs 8123 crore.
