Hindustan Petroleum Corporation

Average GRMs in Q2 was US$ 8.49 per barrel

'Hindustan Petroleum Corporation consolidated net sales increased 1.51% to Rs 111347.75 crore during Q3FY24 compared to Q3FY23.  Sales of Downstream Petroleum segment has gone up 1.97% to Rs 1,18,406.38 crore (accounting for 99.91% of total sales).  Sales of Others segment fell 0.25% to Rs 104.53 crore (accounting for 0.09% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales rose Rs 15.11 crore to Rs 26.61 crore. 

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 58.76% to Rs 996.49 crore.  PBIT of Downstream Petroleum segment rose 52.14% to Rs 981.02 crore (accounting for 98.45% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Others reported profit of Rs 15.47 crore compared to loss of Rs 17.16 crore. 

PBIT margin of Downstream Petroleum segment rose from 0.56% to 0.83%.
