'Consolidated net sales (including other
operating income) of Hindalco Industries has declined 3.57% to Rs 54169
crore. Sales of Copper Business segment
has gone up 28.82% to Rs 12,441.00 crore (accounting for 21.86% of total
sales). Sales of Novelis segment has
gone down 11.38% to Rs 33,961.00 crore (accounting for 59.68% of total
sales). Sales of Aluminium Upstream
segment has gone down 4.10% to Rs 7,878.00 crore (accounting for 13.84% of
total sales). Sales of Aluminium
Downstream segment has gone down 8.84% to Rs 2,629.00 crore (accounting for
4.62% of total sales). Inter-segment
sales rose Rs -1,795.00 crore to Rs 1,845.00 crore.
Profit before interest, tax and other
unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 12.35% to Rs 6,896.00 crore.
