the quarter ending Sept 2023, standalone Net sales (including other operating income) of Colgate-Palmolive (India) has increased 6.03% to Rs 1,471.09 crore compared to quarter ended Sept 2022.Operating profit margin has jumped from 29.41% to 32.77%, leading to 18.17% rise in operating profit to Rs 482.13 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 29.52% to 25.48%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 6.20% to 4.85%. Employee cost increased from 6.87% to 7.31%. Other expenses rose from 27.76% to 29.16%. Selling and administration expenses rose from 11.50% to 14.19%. Other income up 86.26% to Rs 21.01 crore. PBIDT rose 20% to Rs 503.14 crore. Provision for interest fell 17.32% to Rs 1.05 crore. Loan funds declined from Rs 81.69 crore as of 30 September 2022 to Rs 68.67 crore as of 30 September 2023. ...
