the quarter ending Sept 2023, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of Bharat Forge has increased 22.68% to Rs 3774.19 crore compared to quarter ended Sept 2022. Sales of Forgings segment rose 19.09% to Rs 3,375.88 crore (accounting for 87.03% of total sales). Sales of Others segment has gone up 88.23% to Rs 503.22 crore (accounting for 12.97% of total sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs 5.13 crore to Rs 104.91 crore. Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 44.31% to Rs 465.26 crore. PBIT of Forgings segment rose 27.62% to Rs 398.53 crore (accounting for 85.66% of total PBIT). PBIT of Others segment rose 559.72% to Rs 66.73 crore (accounting for 14.34% of total PBIT).
PBIT margin of Forgings segment rose from 11.02% to 11.81%. PBIT margin of Others segment rose from 3.78% to 13.26%. Overall PBIT margin rose from 10.39%...
