Thirumalai Chemicals gains after arm starts Greenfield plant operations in Dahej

Thirumalai Chemicals rose 1.90% to Rs 236.45 after the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, TCL Intermediates has commenced the commercial operations of its Greenfield plant at Dahej, Gujarat from Wednesday, 10 January 2024.

TCL manufactured Fumaric Acid. It is expected to augment a revenue by about Rs 4 crore from its operations for the quarter ending March 2024.

Thirumalai Chemicals are engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling chemicals.

The company reported consolidated net loss of Rs 6 crore in Q2 FY24 as compared with net profit of Rs 34.32 crore in Q2 FY23. Net sales declined 5.2% YoY to Rs 542.05 core in Q2 FY24.
