New India Assurance Company Ltd leads gainers in 'A' group

General Insurance Corporation of India, Fineotex Chemical Ltd, Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd and Elecon Engineering Company Ltd are among the other gainers in the BSE's 'A' group today, 24 November 2023.

New India Assurance Company Ltd spiked 16.91% to Rs 204 at 11:48 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 13.59 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.59 lakh shares in the past one month.

General Insurance Corporation of India surged 12.98% to Rs 297.75. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 3.85 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 72335 shares in the past one month.
