Krsnaa Diagnostics edges higher after bagging service-supply contract from Maharashtra govt

Krsnaa Diagnostics rose 1.93% to Rs 713.95 after the company announced that it has been shortlisted by the Maharashtra Government for providing MRI and CT Scan services at district hospitals.

Under the accepted offer accepted by the Commissioner of Healthcare Services (Government of Maharashtra), Krsnaa Diagnostics will provide magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan and computed tomography (CT) scan services at 17 state-run district hospitals across the state.

The small-cap company stated that the size of the contract cannot be estimated as it is a new contract.

"The company is in the process of entering into an agreement with the authority in this behalf,” Krsnaa Diagnostics said in a statement.

Krsnaa Diagnostics is a differentiated diagnostic service provider in India. It provides a range of technology-enabled diagnostic services such as imaging (including radiology), pathology/clinical laboratory and tele-radiology services to public and private hospitals, medical colleges and community health centres across India.

The diagnostics services provider had reported a 32% decrease in consolidated net profit to Rs 10.5 crore in Q2 FY24 from Rs 15.3 crore in Q2 FY23. Revenue from operations jumped by 26% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 155.5 crore in the quarter ended 30 September 2023.
