Adani Green Energy arm incorporates new WOS

Adani Green Energy has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary (WOS), Adani Renewable Energy Holding Nine, has incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Sixty Nine (AGE69L), on 13 December 2024.


According to the regulatory filing, Adani Green Energy Sixty Nine has a paid-up capital of Rs 1,00,000 and an authorized capital of Rs 1,00,000. The company has not yet commenced its business operations.

The primary objective of AGE69L is to generate, develop, transform, distribute, transmit, sale, supply any kind of power or electrical energy using wind energy, solar energy or other renewable sources of energy.

Adani Green Energy (AGEL), a part of India-based Adani Group, has one of the largest global renewable portfolios with overall portfolio of 20.4 gigawatts (GW), including operating, under-construction and awarded projects catering to investment-grade counterparties. The company develops, builds, owns, operates and maintains utility-scale grid-connected solar and wind farm projects.

The company's consolidated net profit declined 25.81% to Rs 276 crore despite a 37.55% increase in net sales to Rs 3,033 crore in Q2 FY25 as compared with Q2 FY24.

Shares of Adani Green Energy slipped 1.56% to settle at Rs 1,199.75 on 13 December 2024.
