The said films are used for capacitor manufacturing of various types of AC and DC capacitors. The capacitors have diverse application ranging from electronics appliances, industrial applications, power electronics, automobile, electric vehicles, renewable power systems, etc.
The metalised capacitor grade films will be manufactured under clean room conditions with micro slitting capability and thickness ranging from 2.5 micron to 12 micron. The company said that the current installed capacity of Metalised Films is approximately 750 MT per annum, and will look to scale up this product category in future.

The company’s consolidated net profit tumbled 70.6% to Rs 21.55 crore in Q2 FY24 as compared with Rs 73.23 crore in Q2 FY23. The net sales fell 14.7% YoY to Rs 663.58 crore in Q2 FY24.
