Power Grid Corporation of India net profit rose 37.35% to Rs 1031.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 751.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011. Sales rose 40.30% to Rs 3101.87 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 2210.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011.

For the Audited full year,net profit rose 20.69% to Rs 3254.95 crore in the year ended March 2012 as against Rs 2696.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2011. Sales rose 19.63% to Rs 10035.33 crore in the year ended March 2012 as against Rs 8388.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2011.
