Ranbaxy Laboratories reported net profit of Rs 827.23 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against net loss of Rs 52.91 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011. Sales rose 71.60% to Rs 1810.23 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 1054.92 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011.

In the consolidated results, the company reported net profit after minority interest of Rs 1246.76 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 304.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011. Sales reported to Rs 3695.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 2141.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011.
