Net profit of Punjab National Bank rose 18.58% to Rs 1424.06 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 1200.90 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011. Total operating income rose 30.10% to Rs 9679.75 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 7440.29 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011.

For the audited full year, net profit rose 10.17% to Rs 4884.20 crore in the year ended March 2012 as against Rs 4433.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2011. Total operating income rose 34.99% to Rs 36428.03 crore in the year ended March 2012 as against Rs 26986.48 crore during the previous year ended March 2011.

In the consolidated full year results, the bank reported net profit after minority interest of Rs 5025.46 crore in the year ended March 2012 as against Rs 4574.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2011. Total operating income reported to Rs 37447.31 crore in the year ended March 2012 as against Rs 27551.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2011.
