Sesa Goa reports net loss of Rs 11.79 crore in the September 2011 quarter

Sales decline 6.56% to Rs 751.01 crore

Sesa Goa reported net loss of Rs 11.79 crore in the quarter ended September 2011 as against net profit of Rs 352.99 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2010. Sales declined 6.56% to Rs 751.01 crore in the quarter ended September 2011 as against Rs 803.75 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2010.

In the consolidated results, the company reported net profit of Rs 1.28 crore in the quarter ended September 2011 as against Rs 384.94 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2010. Sales reported to Rs 784.14 crore in the quarter ended September 2011 as against Rs 906.82 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2010.
