Net profit of Andhra Sugars rose 60.35% to Rs 20.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2011 as against Rs 12.61 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2010. Sales rose 12.68% to Rs 142.64 crore in the quarter ended March 2011 as against Rs 126.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2010.

For the unaudited full year, net profit declined 47.00% to Rs 35.38 crore in the year ended March 2011 as against Rs 66.76 crore during the previous year ended March 2010. Sales declined 14.79% to Rs 470.03 crore in the year ended March 2011 as against Rs 551.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2010.
