Elecon Engineering Company net profit rose 59.42% to Rs 27.07 crore in the quarter ended March 2010 as against Rs 16.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2009. Sales rose 14.06% to Rs 329.09 crore in the quarter ended March 2010 as against Rs 288.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2009.

For the full year,net profit rose 15.18% to Rs 66.17 crore in the year ended March 2010 as against Rs 57.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2009. Sales rose 9.56% to Rs 1046.37 crore in the year ended March 2010 as against Rs 955.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2009.
