Net profit of Sesa Goa rose 216.18% to Rs 798.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 252.48 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007. Sales rose 112.15% to Rs 1644.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 775.15 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007.

For the full year, net profit rose 146.04% to Rs 1492.00 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 606.41 crore during the previous year ended March 2007. Sales rose 77.99% to Rs 3602.16 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 2023.83 crore during the previous year ended March 2007.
