Net profit of Asian Star Company rose 62.31% to Rs 12.92 crore in the quarter ended December 2007 as against Rs 7.96 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2006. Sales declined 1.94% to Rs 254.61 crore in the quarter ended December 2007 as against Rs 259.65 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2006.
