Net profit of Asian Star Company declined 29.06% to Rs 6.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 8.81 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales rose 6.21% to Rs 340.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 320.92 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit declined 0.93% to Rs 27.55 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 27.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales declined 3.57% to Rs 1163.61 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 1206.71 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
