Net profit of Indian Oil Corporation declined 60.06% to Rs 1609.67 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 4030.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales declined 1.11% to Rs 50218.71 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 50784.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit rose 52.58% to Rs 7499.47 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 4915.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 15.60% to Rs 200923.09 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 173808.54 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
