Net profit of Sesa Goa rose 31.42% to Rs 252.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 192.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales rose 27.58% to Rs 775.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 607.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit rose 12.45% to Rs 606.55 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 539.40 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 14.23% to Rs 2023.83 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 1771.77 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
