Reliance Capital surged 7.17% to Rs 337.10, extending three-day 5.41% advance. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock rose on volume of 20.01 lakh shares, sharply higher than an average daily volume of 7.14 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

TTK Prestige jumped 6.59% to Rs 2953.90 and was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock underperformed the market over the past one month till 6 June 2012, falling 21.01% compared with the Sensex's 2.24% decline. The stock, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 0.30% as against Sensex's fall of 4.19%.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises spurted 4.98% to Rs 136.90 and was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock rose on volume of 9.53 lakh shares, sharply higher than an average daily volume of 52,000 shares in the past two weeks. Zee Entertainment Enterprises said on Tuesday it has till date purchased 47.46 lash shares for an aggregate amount of approximately Rs 58.52 crore under its share buyback plan.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals advanced 4.41% to Rs 375.15 and was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock outperformed the market over the past one month till 6 June 2012, rising 5.68% compared with the Sensex's 2.24% decline. The stock also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 21.82% as against Sensex's fall of 4.19%.

Voltas gained 4.04% to Rs 103, extending three-day 8.76% gain. It was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock underperformed the market over the past one month till 6 June 2012, falling 7.13% compared with the Sensex's 2.24% decline. The stock also underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 7.91% as against Sensex's fall of 4.19%.
