Strong quarterly earnings boost Disa India

Disa India spurted 10.15% to Rs 1435 at 10:11 IST on BSE, after net profit surged 72.47% to Rs 8.52 crore on 66.69% rise in net sales to Rs 44.09 crore in Q4 December 2010 over Q4 December 2009.

The company announced the results after market hours on Friday, 25 February 2011.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 153.01 points, or 0.86%, to 17,853.92.

On BSE, 472 shares were traded in the counter compared with the average daily volume of 134 shares over the past two weeks.

The stock hit a high of Rs 1525 and a low of Rs 1326.20 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 1740 on 15 April 2010 and a 52-week low of Rs 1270 on 7 June 2010.
